Hello, welcome to 4 Buckets, a community for musings on life, food, books, and pop culture. Pop down below and leave a comment, I promise I don’t bite.
Hero of the episode: Juliet, Kate Zero of the episode: N/A
Quote(s) of the episode: “He was trying to get away from you.”—Cassidy to Kate on why Sawyer jumped from the helicopter | “So now I’m supposed to think he’s a hero because he told you to come here and help us?”—Cassidy | “You’re all free to leave when you want, but I’ll shoot you in the leg.”—Miles to Kate, Hurley, and Jack | “I’ve already done this once. I’ve already saved Benjamin Linus, and I did it for you, Kate. I don’t need to do it again.”—Jack
Music vibes: sinister to start the episode; endearing when Roger, Ben’s dad, talks to Kate about his failures as a father; frenetic when young Ben is struggling to breathe; deeply sad when Kate says goodbye to Aaron
Little things: Hurley checking his hand to see if he’s disappearing like Marty McFly in Back to the Future; Kate telling Sawyer she helped Cassidy and Clementine
